The purpose of the Teaching and Learning Department is to assist all schools in their quest to improve student performance. This department oversees the District's 4K-12 curriculum, instruction, and assessment. This includes academic standards, state and district assessments, student learning, instructional research and state and federal compliance. The department supports all educators and staff in the continuous improvement of their knowledge and skills, allowing for the equitable delivery of rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum in a collaborative environment.
