Marinette High School junior Chase Harteau is a model of The Marine Way. So are sophomores Lilly Molkentine, Bryanna Torkko and Olivia Hanson. The four were selected as the high school’s first Students of the Month as part of a new school wide program recognizing student achievement. Students are nominated for the honor based on their demonstration of the four attributes of The Marine Way: respect, integrity, responsibility and excellence.

What do football, cheerleading, and band have in common? You might say they all share the field during a football game. Some of the football players may be in the band, and some of the cheerleaders may also be in the band. But what if they all worked together on ONE common goal, designed to entertain and showcase the talent of the students at Marinette High School? That is exactly what happened when MHS’s band director/head cheer team coach and the head football coach put their resources together.
