Marinette School District is a public school district that services the city of Marinette. The city is located in northeast Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Michigan’s Green Bay, on the Wisconsin/Upper Peninsula Michigan border. Marinette and the surrounding communities are part of Wisconsin’s proud maritime heritage. Manufacturers, retail, small businesses, UW Green Bay-Marinette, and Northeast Technical College-Marinette all call Marinette home. The Marinette School District proudly serves students in Early Childhood through 12th grade with an excellent public educational program.

The Marinette School District is served by a nine-member Board, who serve three-year terms for (non- or designated) seats.

The District has a total of four schools; one primary school for early childhood, 4-year-old and 5-year-old kindergarten, and 1st grade, one intermediate school for grades 2-4, one middle school for grades 5-8; and one high school for grades 9-12.
