Special Dietary Needs

Don't keep quiet about food allergies or special dietary needs...

If your child has a disability or special dietary restriction, please let us know. If we have your child's restrictions or need s on file, we can accommodate your child. The form below will need to be gilled out and signed by a medical authority and returned to the Food Service Office located at 2139 Pierce Ave. Marinette School District.

We keep track of every ingredient in every food we serve. At the elementary schools, food service personnel make it their business to know each child's special needs-and serve them accordingly. At the junior and senior high schools, the cashier's computer has all documented student allergies and needs posted on the student's account. The cashier can then verify if the student has an off-limits food on their tray.

On a daily basis, we provide nutritional and safe options for students who are allergic to wheat, red dye, peanuts and lactose. We can screen for other allergies too... but only when we know about them.

Please communicate to help us keep your child safe!

It's always good to educate your child about what foods to avoid.

Please Note:
To assure that the needs of your child are met, all students who have a completed Dietary Request Form on file will have their name posted in the kitchen of the school they attend.
