MHS National Honor Society Induction Ceremony
October 11th, 2024 — Marinette High School proudly hosted its National Honor Society (NHS) induction ceremony on October 9th, honoring the newest inductees who demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, leadership, service, and character. The event occurred at W.J. Jones Auditorium within Marinette High School; family, friends, and community members were in attendance to celebrate this significant accomplishment.
The National Honor Society, a prestigious organization, acknowledges students who exemplify excellence in scholarship, leadership, and community service. The inductees were selected through a rigorous evaluation process led by the NHS faculty council based on their adherence to these core values. The students recognized represent the highest levels of achievement at Marinette High School and have been celebrated as role models within the school and community.
Marinette High School Principal Steve Linssen expressed great pride during the ceremony, stating, "We are honored to recognize these remarkable students who not only excel academically but also show a deep commitment to serving others. Their dedication reflects the core values of the National Honor Society and our school, and we are confident they will continue to make a lasting impact.”
This year’s inductees were Scarlett Ascher, Lacy Carviou, Liam Clochesy, Dylan Demmith, Brady Eastman, Peyton Gamelin, Max Jacobson, Emma Lesperance, Riley Kieffer, Chase Macgregor, Ryker Maye, Daisy Mercer, Braden Mueller, Lauryn Pelon, Hannah Peterson, Braxton Polzin, Andie Rasmussen, Cooper Smith, and Joseph Spencer.
Assisting with inducting the new members to the chapter were current members: Lauren Sadowski (Co-President), Keirsten Sadowski (Co-President), Gavin Boucher (Vice President), Connor Whisler (Secretary), Summer Berg, Mackenzie Bird, Kaya Bodam, Amber Camps, Georgianna Grandow, Olivia Hanson, Regan Hermanson, Olivia Henriksen, Addison Lacy, Justin Kruse, Madison Kunick, Kennedy Polomis, Natalie Poquette, Chloe Seymour, Josie Smerchek, Jaxon Smith, Allison Tickler, Bryanna Torkko, and Kyle Vergara.
